These filter replacements fit oven range hoods, counter-top microwaves and over the range microwaves.

There are basically two types of filters used in most microwaves: The Aluminium Grease Filter and The Charcoal Filter. Both types of filters should be installed in your microwaves and replaced in time. Replace your filters anywhere between 6 to 12 months depending on usage.

The charcoal filter filters out both grease and odors and the aluminium filter catches the majority of the grease. The grease filter can be run through the dishwasher and can be re-used. The charcoal filter is not reusable. Once they are dirty, they have to be replaced.

The grease filter can be used in both vented and non-vented microwave ovens and is constructed primarily of aluminium. It has a pull tab on the side to facilitate inserting and removing the filter from the microwave oven.

The slot for the grease filter is visible and is located under the microwave oven. The slot for the charcoal filter is hidden behind the top bar of your microwave oven.
